We took Sam and Max to see a train show yesterday. Sam loved watching all of them go around, and around, and around, and...and got a new hat out of the deal ;) Max slept through everything!

My parents, and Grandma Gert came for a visit today. They got to spend a lot of time with Sam, Max, and Abi while I was stuck in a meeting. Anyway, Grandma got a bunch of good pics while she was here...

Happy Birthday Evie!

Grandma Evie turned 98 years old today and was going as strong as ever!



Sam and Owen were very excited to help Evie blow her candles :)



Having Max, who's almost a month old, together with Evie, who's 98 made me wonder what was happening in 1912. As it turns out, she shares her birth year with Fenway Park!

Other interesting goings on in 1912:
-- The Titanic sunk
-- The Republic of China was established
-- New Mexico and Arizona became states
-- The first parachute jump from a moving plane took place
-- The Red Sox won the World Series!!
-- Japan gave the U.S. the Cherry Blossoms
-- Woodrow Wilson was elected President
